This has permanently replaced my neck pillow for flights. I've always had trouble falling asleep on flights, and even when I did manage to nod off, I was easily jostled awake, generally from my head drooping. I recently used the travel pillow on a 90 minute flight. To my surprise, I fell asleep at take off and didn't wake up until the announcement came on to start preparing for landing. The material on both the headrest attachment and eye mask is soft and comfortable. It was also breathable, and I never felt sweaty. The back portion wraps around the sides of the heads, comfortably covers the ears and blocks out distractions. The integrated eye mask, which attaches to the headrest part with velcro, completely blocked out all cabin light. The pillow took about 30 seconds to install. Two straps buckle around the headrest on the seat. I wasn't sure how securely they would hold, but the pillow never slid or bounced during the entire flight. Once it was buckled to the seat, the eye mask cradled my forehead and kept my head against the headrest. The velcro that attaches the eye mask to the back portion of the pillow is really strong, and never felt like it was going to come lose or fall off. After the flight, I felt well rested. Despite how the pillow is worn and used, I did not experience any head or neck discomfort. On the contrary, my head, neck, and back were free of any kinks or stiffness.
