I used this on a long international flight and it's now a required item to pack for any trip! I thought it might make me feel claustrophobic to have my eyes covered by something that wraps around your head, but it had the opposite effect. I felt snuggled, the eye coverings are super soft with big spaces so they don't press on your eyes, and it's easy to adjust the velcro to get just the right fit. A plus for me was that I was able to adjust the fit so the soft sides came over my ears, softening the airplane noise. Not noise canceling by any means, but it made the journey quieter.
