This was surprisingly comfortable. Blocks out almost all light, and the "pillow" backing feels nice and snug, without creating a headache. Love that it is adjustable, so that I can use if for my 10-year-old, teens, or myself. The design of the pillow backing would easily be adjustable around a ponytail if you are wearing it. We have a car-trip coming up, and this will be perfect for the kids to wear while we drive, and me to wear at the rest stops.
