I like this Sarisun Travel Pillow a lot. I’ve been through the usual foam neck pillows plus an inflatable neck wedge that showed promise, but they just don’t support my head and as a result they’re not comfortable. This design — which works only with a suitable headrest, as clearly indicated in the product description — gets around that problem by effectively holding my head upright against the seat and IT WORKS. It took me a minute to get the product properly secured to the airplane headrest and then find the right position/height for the headrest along with the right placement of the Velcro sleep mask on my face/around my head, but once I got it all lined up the result was worth the effort… and my next use will be that much easier now that I’ve got it all dialed in. With my head comfortably supported in the soft eye mask and posterior wrap, I could feel my neck and shoulder muscles relaxxxx and I slept pretty good for being on an airplane. The eye mask is especially comfortable, with zero pressure on my eyes and it really was nice to block out the light. I typically travel with over-the-ear noise cancelling headphones but since those can’t work with this item wrapped around my head and ears I just used my AirPods inside the wrap, and that setup worked surprisingly well. My neck was perhaps a little stiff at the end of my flight just from sleeping upright, but that loosened up immediately with a simple stretch and overall it was WAY better than trying to sleep with my head tipped uncomfortably onto my old-style neck pillow. This product rolls up compactly for easy packing, it’s soft and comfortable around my face and noggin, and it keeps my head supported in a position that allows my upper body to relax enough for me to sleep. It works!
