Joseph Andrews - improved design - SARISUN TRAVEL PILLOW FOR HEAD SUPPORT

To my mind, this is an improvement over the standard U-shaped neck pillow used for sleeping on planes. If you don't mind setting up the part that attaches to the headrest, you've got something here that solves some problems. First, it doesn't ask you to use your jaw to prop up your head, like those U-pillows. I never liked that. With this one, you're strapped against the part that attaches to your headrest. This means a) your head is against your (washable!) pillow, not the airline's. And, b) it means your neck is going to be more comfortable; this holds your head in place. You might get some funny looks from folks who will wonder why your head is strapped down, but who cares... you wanted to ignore the others and go to sleep! Not planning on sleeping the whole trip? No trouble. The headrest attachment can stay put and you can use either the mask or strap (for chin or forehead) in your pocket and take it out and use them when you want to snooze. You won't have a bulky thing to store when you're not sleeping, just the mask and/or strap. They don't take up much room and when the flight is over, everything fits into the bag which is about 4x5 inches and soft. I set this up at home with a desk-chair with a headrest and found it comfortable. The mask blocks out the light and is soft. It too is washable. The Velcro attachments come with covering clothes to keep them from sticking when you don't want them to: that's thoughtful design. I'm looking forward to putting it to the test on a long flight.
