It took me a while to be able to write my review because we ended up having to cancel the original trip I planned to test it out on. I also quickly discovered on the rescheduled trip that the head restraint does not attach to certain seat types. Our first flight was on a commuter jet and the seats did not have the "wing" type head pillow so there was nothing to attach the base to. And the straps would have covered the tray table release on the passenger behind me if I tried to wrap the straps all the way around the seat head rest. SO, the device will not work on those sorts of planes but fortunately they only fly short routes.Otherwise, it's a pretty ingenious design to address my issue of the head nod when trying to sleep on an airline seat which barely reclines. The device is a little tricky to figure out the first time but once you understand how it works, it's great. And you can leave the pillow attached to your seat an simply remove the eye mask portion when you aren't sleeping. Great for long-haul flights!
