I thought it's going to be a bit stiff, especially the part behind head. But to my surprise, it's super soft. The foam cushion is thick, and it feels like cotton cloud. The eye mask is attached to the back with the Velcro. You can adjust the tightness simply. It's straightforward to secure the stripes to the airplane seat or car seat. One issue is when attached to car seat, the whole thing is positioned a bit high for short people or kids. Maybe the stripes can be longer to accommodate users of different heights. After properly secured the whole thing to the seat, put on a neck pillow, then put on this head pillow with eye mask, travelling is not so unbearable any more.
