I have not yet use this on an airplane but I first tested out in the car. The directions have you simply cross the straps over the back of the headrest of a car. I was quite amazed with how easy it was to use and how comfortable. It provides great support so I can keep my head up and I’m just simply leaning a few inches to the side with full support. It works by removing the eye mask from the back of the pillow and using it to secure the pillow to either side of your head. This simple move keeps the head support in place. This does mean you need to keep the eye mask on at all times to use it but it’s so comfortable I don’t mind.
