There are lots of options for travel pillows. I wanted something that could go inside my carry-on bag instead of snapping on the outside (lost too many of those in airports). After reviewing all the various options I thought I'd give this one a try. I bought it for an international trip as I knew the plane would be equipped with a separate headrest - essential for using this item! Once you attach the neck pillow to the headrest you can add or remove the eye mask as needed. When you are ready to sleep, simply attach the velcro eye mask and your head is held in place, your eyes are covered and your ears too - so you are ready for sleep mode and your head doesn't flop around. I was quite pleased with the way it worked and was able to get some sleep. It wraps up into a small pouch (a little bigger than a fist) which fits nicely into your carry on bag.
