This is very innovative. This holds the head by keep it upright and blocking light from eyes. It does 2 things with one stone. It also supports the neck better than the other typical neck pillows that relies on thick cushion to keep the head rested. However, the downside of those neck pillows is once the head moves a little bit, the support is not as strong as the original position. This neck pillow is different from the rest. It relies on the 2 straps hanging from the headrest of the seat. It's less likely to lose support over period of time unless the Velcro gives up its cohesion.My kids tested this on our car as well. This pillow only works on the middle seat for MDX because the head rest is wider compared to other seats. It works great when my partner is shopping at outlets while I try to catch up with nap in the car.Using this doesn't mean that I get a full rest like a lying flat on a bed. Nothing beats lying flat on a bed.
